New Hartland Chamber of Commerce Member

The Hartland Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new member recently when Chamber Board Directors and Ambassadors from businesses throughout Hartland presented a membership plaque to Dyslexia Achievement Center in Hartland.

Dyslexia Achievement Center is a center for learning. We focus on helping children and adults who have difficulty reading, writing, spelling, and also with math. We utilize one-on-one Orton Gillingham reading and math interventions. The Orton-Gillingham approach uses a multisensory, explicit, structured literacy, concentrated method for teaching people diagnosed with dyslexia.  We also do dyslexia assessments, dysgraphia assessments, dyscalculia assessments, ADHD assessments, Orton Gillingham reading interventions, Orton Gillingham math interventions, occupational therapy, speech therapy, handwriting club, learning skills/executive functioning interventions, dyslexia screening, dyslexia education, advocacy assistance, run the Beyond Words Support Group, and the DAC: Dyslexia and Coffee Podcast. Being able to read is a life skill and can impact all areas in life.  Literacy is needed to be independent in the community and it is never too late to get started.
