Ryan Bailey is the Finance Director/Treasurer for the Village of Hartland, WI. He is also the Village of Hartland Ex-Officio Board Member for the Hartland Chamber of Commerce. He has been Finance Director/Treasurer at the Village of Hartland since November of 2011 and has been a Board Member with the Chamber of Commerce since 2014. Ryan has lived in the Lake Country area his entire life. He grew up in Pewaukee and graduated high school in 1998 from Waukesha North. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, and from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2007 with a Master of Science degree in Accounting. In 2010, he successfully passed all portions of the State of Wisconsin exam to become a Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to his time at the Village of Hartland, he was a Senior Accountant/Lead Auditor for the audit firm Baker Tilly, formerly known as Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, for five years. After that, he was the Accounting Manager for the City of New Berlin for two years. Ryan has always enjoyed working in the public sector, and loved the appeal of working for a community like Hartland.
Outside of his professional career, time with his wife, daughter and family is what Ryan cherishes most. He is also an avid sports fan. He enjoys attending or watching just about any sport. All through his childhood years he played soccer, baseball and basketball. Nowadays, he enjoys playing golf during the warm weather months and bowling during the cold weather months.
