Get to know Hartland Chamber Ambassador of the Month: Mary Ebert, Town Bank!

Meet Hartland Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Month: Mary Ebert, Town Bank.

Mary Ebert grew up in West Allis, WI as the 2nd youngest of 7 children. She and her husband, Jim, met while working for a savings and loan in Milwaukee County and began their blended family in 1990. Together they raised their 4 daughters as they built and owned a successful business in the Genesee community for over 25 years. After a 17-year absence from the financial services industry, Mary came back to banking and joined Town Bank in 2011 where she is currently the AVP-Market Manager for the Hartland location.

“I am so proud to be a member of the Town Bank family where our mission is to create and maintain a focus on the importance of our clients by providing unparalleled service. Working to fulfill that mission with colleagues of the same mindset, in an atmosphere of diversity and inclusion, has been my honor for 13 years.”

With over $3.7B in assets and 22 locations, Town Bank has a strong presence in southeastern Wisconsin. We’re more than a bank and we’re a business owner’s best resource. We go above and beyond to support our customers, businesses, and community in ways only a local bank can. As a Wintrust Community Bank, our experience growing a company helps us support the more than 51,000 businesses that count on us.

“I want to thank the Hartland Chamber of Commerce for the support and opportunities offered to me to be more involved as a member of this community. Being a Chamber Ambassador has allowed me to work with an incredibly warm and welcoming team in our mission of helping new businesses discover the benefits of their chamber membership.”

When not having fun working with her Town Bank family, Mary’s favorite activity is gathering her 4 daughters, 2 sons-in law, and 2 grandchildren for Sunday morning family brunches. Any occasion to celebrate the blessings of family is always welcome!

Get to know Hartland Chamber Ambassador of the Month: Dr. Hannah Scherbarth, New Heights Physical Therapy!

Dr. Hannah Scherbarth is originally from Shawano, WI and moved to Hartland in 2020. She opened New Heights Physical Therapy located in Hartland as a mobile PT practice in August 2021, and has since grown to now provide holistic physical therapy services out of her practice location in the Bailey Family Dental building.

New Heights is not your typical physical therapy practice. At New Heights PT, we help high achievers learn how to listen to and treat their bodies and their minds so they can overcome pain and truly enjoy their fast-paced lives. We are all about sustainable changes – teaching you how to feel better and maintain it. Dr. Hannah specializes in chronic pain PT and coaching, while her new PT in the practice specializes in women’s and pelvic health PT and coaching.

“My mission is to connect with the people in my community and empower each person to be informed advocates for their health. So often we wrongly accept pain, discomfort, or poor movement through life as ‘normal’ because we think we are “just getting old”, or we don’t want to complain and be a burden to anyone else, or we’ve tried and failed to find help that is the right fit for us so then we decide we can’t be helped at all.

Here’s the truth: not every provider is the perfect fit for every client, and not all providers are created equal. I believe in listening deeply so I can help you connect the dots. This allows me to guide each person who walks through my door towards the best resources that they may need at that time.

Our stories and journeys are not all the same, but we all deserve to be well and understand our bodies, minds, and that we have more power than we think over how we experience life. My goal is to help you find and feel that power so you can finally envision and reach new heights in your personal wellness!”

Outside of NHPT, you can find Hannah enjoying time together with her husband and black lab somewhere outdoors, camping, taking backcountry canoe trips, training for her next marathon, enjoying a craft beer by the campfire, DIY home projects, learning how to garden and not kill houseplants, and doing her own holistic PT to discover her own new heights in wellness.

Meet Our New Chamber Assistant!

“On behalf of the board of directors, we want to extend a warm welcome and introduce you to our new Hartland Chamber of Commerce Assistant – Darlene Igl! We are so very excited to have Darlene join our organization. Her connections are extensive, her knowledge immeasurably beneficial to our organization and the continuity of both are extremely valuable to our community!” from Chamber President, Lynn Minturn.

Having grown up in the area and graduated from Arrowhead High School, Hartland has always felt like home to me. My very first job was at the A & W Restaurant (remember Rooty, the llama?). After having had the privilege to serve as the Village Clerk for the past nine years, I made the decision to retire after working in the municipal clerk field for over 30 years.

I am excited to have the opportunity to fill the Chamber Assistant role and provide support to the Chamber in their mission to promote and connect businesses in the Village. I am looking forward to opportunities to provide support for programs or events offered by the Chamber.

I continue to enjoy being a member of Kiwanis of Greater Hartland and the Woman’s Club of Hartland as these organizations strive to make a difference in the Village of Hartland.

My husband, Tony, and I have lived in Summit for the past 26 years. We have two very spoiled cats, Luci and Lexi, who seem to be in charge. We have two adult daughters and five grandkids ranging in age from 10 to 21. In my spare time, I enjoy dabbling in my new retirement hobby of cookie decorating!

Meet Hartland Chamber of Commerce Board Member of the Month – Rebecca Margraf!

Rebecca is the Manager and Graphic Artist at Competitor Awards & Engraving, Inc. where she has worked for over twelve years. She has had the opportunity to provide jobs for clients and customers globally, as well as many businesses and members of the Lake Country area. Projects are often new, custom requests that allow creativity to continuously grow and each day to be different and interesting.

CA&E currently is looking to add members to their team and encourage anyone interested to apply!

Rebecca has lived and worked in the heart of Lake Country majority of her life. Her family has been a part of the community since her Grandparents, David and Kathleen Kerr, owned the bank in downtown Hartland, then known as Village Bank. While her roots are here, in 2022 she purchased her first home in Menomonee Falls for herself and her immensely loved rescue dachshund, Ben. Aside from spending time with her dog, friends, and family, Rebecca enjoys reading, podcasts, cooking, and continuing her collection and love for plants, and now gardening.

Get to know Hartland Chamber Ambassador of the Month: Dr. Anna Koeck, Eye Doctor and CEO Theia Vision Care.

Dr. Anna provides holistic eyecare, treating the entire person and meeting you where you are.

After realizing that traditional medicine did not focus on prevention and just worked to cover up a problem as fast as possible, Dr. K opened Theia Vision Care to provide preventative, holistic and direct eye care.

Education and reading have been a long-time passion for Dr. K since she moved to the United States from Minsk, Belorus in 4th grade. Not being able to speak English and not having many resources around, she found the library as a haven to learn and succeed. As a result, she is so passionate about providing every child the same chance to succeed and learn through clear vision. Without clear vision children cannot learn well. Therefore, a yearly eye exam for every child is a must! Fun fact, first eye exam with an eye doctor should be at 1 year old and the child does not need to be able to read or talk. A yearly eye exam for adults and kids can catch health problems such as diabetes, prevent headaches and help relieve visual stress. Headaches are a common signal of a vision problem! They are common, but are not normal!

Dr. Anna Koeck lives in Hartland, WI with husband Josh, 8 year-old son Maks and 10 month Old English Sheepdog Hugo. Josh and Anna are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary this August! Dr. Anna loves traveling, reading, weight lifting and watching Maks play football, baseball and basketball. Fun fact, as Mrs. Waukesha County, Dr. K was one of the runners up for Mrs. Wisconsin. Look for her in a next beauty pageant!

Dr. Anna loves the Lake Country community and is so grateful to serve as a Hartland Chamber Ambassador. Theia Vision Care always has and continues to find a way to say yes to any charities or community programs and schools that reach out for help!
