Wee Know Schools, Inc. was established by Maida Sawyer in 1975 as a half-day preschool in the Hartland area. It now serves more than 200 families with children ages 2 ½ to 11 years and is open year round from 6AM to 6PM daily under the direction of Denise Delie, Administrator, and Sue Schieble and Mary Lloyd Lynn-Murphy, as directors. With a highly dedicated staff of 35 teachers it also collaborates with local school districts, providing 4K programming and before/after school care. Wee Know provides quality early education classes in the former Bark River School at their Hwy 83 location with eight classrooms, full gymnasium, eight acres of natural outdoor space featuring hiking trails, gardens, bog boardwalk and large playspace.
