The Hartland Chamber of Commerce congratulates our “Business of the Week” Ice Age Trail Alliance.
Ice Age Trail Alliance was the recipient of the Hartland Chamber of Commerce’s “Business of the Week” distinction on Monday, October 28th, 2024. Volunteers Hiker Liaison Jeannie Georgson and Hike Leader Jeff Romanga accepted the celebratory honor and appreciation from Chamber Ambassadors at Hartland’s Nixon Park. “It was so nice to meet fellow Chamber members this morning. As you can tell, Jeff and I are very passionate about the Ice Age Trail! Watch for progress on the Boardwalk replacement project, in the Hartland Marsh. If I have to say so myself, our volunteers work hard and build some amazing boardwalks,” Georgson stated.
Hartland has the distinction of being the first Ice Age Trail Community, where the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, itself, winds its way through the heart of downtown! The Hartland Walking Club will be hosting a walk in the Loew Lake Segment on November 13th at 9AM. Organization meetings are open to the public and you can find more information on their website at www.IceAgeTrail.org
