Dr. Michael Merkt graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic College in Minneapolis, MN where he was very involved with his fellow students serving on the boards of many clubs and being president of the Chiropractic Philosophy Club. Upon graduating he moved back to his hometown of Oconomowoc, WI to serve the community he cares about the most. He has done post-graduate work in specific Upper Cervical Chiropractic care and continues to perfect his skills through The Art of The Specific training program.

Dr. Merkt is currently the owner and clinic director of The Specific Chiropractic Center of Lake Country, WI. He serves his community whenever he can by volunteering for multiple events throughout the year. Dr. Merkt is committed to not only brining Chiropractic care just to his community but internationally as he has served on a Chiropractic Outreach Program to El Salvador.

Other than Chiropractic, Dr. Merkt has a passion for cars and motorcycles. He grew up racing motocross, which is how he was introduced to Chiropractic in the first place! He enjoys being outside whether it’s swimming in one of the many lakes in the area, going for walks and bike rides, or hitting the ski slopes during the winter months.
