The Hartland Chamber of Commerce board of directors and ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 14th at BEER SNOBS Ale & Eats. to celebrate their successful and much anticipated opening in Hartland. Owners Harry Berg and Steve Berger (orange shirts) were surrounded by Hartland Chamber directors and ambassadors as they officially cut the ribbon. On hand to congratulate Beer Snobs were (l-r) Bill Kasch – First Bank Financial Centre, Scott Heyerdahl – Premier Properties Ltd,, Dr. Kelly Newman and her daughter – Generations Dental, Matt Gaulke-Great Midwest Bank, Joe Glomski – First Bank Financial Centre, Donna Dorau – Lake Country Publications, Mark Walters – Re/Max Realty and Deb Nollen – Hartland Area Greetings and a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. On November 17, 1938, 47 Garden Club members organized The Woman’s Club of Hartland. Seventy-seven years later, our Club’s 80 members are continuing to serve our community by “living the volunteer spirit.”

Our early civic accomplishments were to initiate garbage pickup in our village and to raise funds to build the tennis courts at Nixon Park. Today we sponsor the following events, projects, and organizations: Hartland’s Annual Hometown Celebration Parade, the Hartland Community Band, AFS, Lake Country Players, Badger Girls’ State, Parents’ Place, annual scholarship for an Arrowhead graduating senior girl, and the list goes on.

Owner Karl Scheife and his wife Claudine were surrounded by Hartland Chamber directors and ambassadors as they officially cut the ribbon.
