The Hartland Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new member recently. Dr. Mark Erickson, PT with Insight Physical Therapy (r) was presented with a membership plaque from the Chamber and welcomed by ambassadors Mark Walters, Re/Max Realty Group, Deb Nollen, Hartland Area Greetings and a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, and Scott Heyerdahl, Premier Properties Ltd. Insight Physical Therapy is a family-owned physical therapy private practice clinic serving the Lake County communities. Dr. Erickson, a Physical Therapy professor and clinician for 32 years, specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, pain, sports PT, performing arts and body awareness training. Dr. Erickson has earned an advanced Doctor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy (DScPT), American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists certification in Orthopedics, certification as on Orthopedic Manual Therapist and certificates as a practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method. In addition to maintaining a small private practice for the past 22 years, he’s held faculty positions the PT programs at UW-Madison and currently Carroll University where he directs and teaches the orthopedics curriculum, does research and presents nationally on physical therapy practice, especially the need for integrated personal care. The Hartland Chamber received a wonderful proclamation tonight from the Village of Hartland, WI in recognition of our 65th anniversary being an advocate for local business and a strong supporter of the community. On behalf of the chamber board of directors,Chamber president Donna Dorau accepted the proclamation from Village president David Lamerand.
